Italian company Ozzio specialise in ultra flexible 'transformable tables' which quickly turn from coffee tables to dining tables - perfect for city living.

The Planet Transformable table designed by Studio Ozeta is extremely popular as it seamlessly changes from a stylish coffee table with clean good looks to a stunning 1.96m long dining table capable of seating 8 people comfortably.

To 'transform' the table you activate the simple, yet high quality, gas-powered mechanism to lift the table to your chosen height, this can be anywhere between the coffee table height of 23cm to a maximum of 80cm (unlike many other tables which only lift in set increments).

Once you have the table at your preferred height, then open out the 2 folding 38cm extensions stored at each end and you have your dining table. At the end of the meal, simply reverse the process and you have your coffee table once more!

The table top can be selected in several colours of lacquered glass, including extra-white (which has had most of the green tinge of normal glass removed), pyro-ceramic glass which is heat resistant & waterproof, or in Ozzio's new mark-less glass, a softly acid etched glass that won't show up fingerprints etc & which is almost impossible to mark or scratch.
